COE Installers for a Long Term Project

Need Level 3 & 4 Central Office Equipment Installers:

All Technicians must be capable of performing installation, test and turn-up on the following transport equipment:
DWDM, CWDM, Adtran, Calix, BTI, Nortel, Fujitsu Flashwave, Cisco routers, Ethernet switches.
Capable of performing addition, removals, and modifications on working equipment and circuits.

Lead Central Office Equipment Installer: Perform lead functions on COE Work Orders with little or no supervision. Direct the activities of other installers.
This position is classified as a Level 4 Installer and must be capable of performing as the Installation in-charge person.

Technicians must be familiar with all aspects of central office installation procedures and practices and must be familiar with the IP72202 installation specs.
Must be capable of performing Circuit modifications, Software additions or upgrades, Power transition work, Addition or removal of batteries, Addition or removal of circuits on working power distribution sources. Equipment testing and turn-up.

Able to perform under minimum directions, with a high degree of individual initiative and technical skill, to exercise independent action on procedures, which are broad in scope.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be able to climb ladders.
Some in-state travel may be required. Office to office.
Normal work hours 8 to 5 but there could be overtime and there may be some work in the maintenance window.

Need valid vehicle operators License and Safe reliable vehicle.

Must have your own small CO hand tools.

Lap top would be a plus

Pay commensurate with experience

Need installers in the following areas: Northwest, Midwest and Carolinas. Please include your location(s) preference.

Pay: 25.00 - 30.00/Hourly
Travel Required: 50% of the time
Required Citizenship: Authorized to work in U.S.
Experience Required: 6 yrs
